I've been backpacking and hiking in Washington since 1992, leading youth trips, completing the Wonderland Trail, and section-hiking the Washington PCT. Before retiring I worked as a librarian, and for "fun on the side" have acted in and directed community theatre. Married, 2 kids, 2 grandkids!
