Beaver Lake Park measures 83 acres and there is a lot going on here. There are two main parking areas, each surrounded by an array of facilities; the middle of the park, which is mostly forested, is where hikers will want to end up.

A few different trails wind through this forest, so visitors can make any number of loop hikes. On the west side of the park there are a few sports fields, an off-leash dog area and a picnic shelter. The lakeshore is on the east side of the park, with a lodge and a pavillion. Both parking areas have restrooms.
