Hiking Wright Park

Peppered with statues and monuments, this is a park designed in a classical style. The gem of architecture here is the glass conservatory which opened in 1908 and still welcomes visitors.

An organic layout of pathways makes it easy to wander past all the attractions with no particular route in mind, or, if you prefer, a loop trail follows the perimeter of the park for a neat 0.9 mile walk.

Getting There

From I-5 take exit 133 for I-705 N. After about 1.3 miles on I-705, stay right to get on Stadium Way. After 0.5 mile on Stadium Way, turn left on Division Ave. until you get to the northern boundary of Wright Park. There is no designated parking lot for this park, so you will have to find street parking somewhere along its perimeter.

Take Transit:

Route 1 stops at the intersection of 6th Ave. and I St.; and at the intersection of 6th Ave. and G St.

Route 11 stops at the intersection of Division Ave. and I St.

Route 16 stops at the intersection of 1st and N Yakima Ave.
