Trip Report

Teneriffe Falls — Friday, Jan. 24, 2020

Snoqualmie Region > North Bend Area

We arrived at the trailhead around 9:15 a.m. And there was no other cars in the lot to our delight. (Love hiking on a weekday). The trail was in great condition for the first mile and a half or so, and then we actually wondered if we were even still on the trail there was so much water flowing down it. It felt like we were climbing up a waterfall there was so much water flowing down it. I was very happy I wore waterproof boots as they were pretty much submerged as I climbed up this very flooded section of the trail. We managed without incident however. The falls were magnificent today with all of the heavy rains, and the spray from them was very strong as we approached. (Again, very happy for waterproof clothing). The trail was completely snow free at this time and no traction devices were required. A great hike in every season!
