We did the short side of Skookum falls, by parking at the west end and hiking east but I couldn't find the WTA link for that exact one so...
It's snow covered and we used our microspikes once we had walked about ten feet from the car. It's a fairly flat easy hike but there was water over the trail in a few places and trees to climb over. (Again this doing the short trail, so if you're starting from the east and going west, this doesn't apply to you.)
The waterfall is pretty and it's a nice stretch of the legs. Would be good to do with kids or people from out of town.

That little trickle in your photo is not the actual main falls. It's a few hundred yards further up the trail. I actually made the same mistake a few years ago.

We actually figured that out on the drive to our next hike lol. Oh well, there's always next time! And we had fun just being out in the woods! :)
