Tarbell Trail — Tuesday, May. 19, 2020

Southwest Washington > Lewis River Region
Hidden Falls

Hiked the Tarbell trail to Hidden Falls starting at the Tarbell Trailhead.  Total distance about 10.88i with 1200' elevation gain.  It was raining the entire trip so I only saw two other people on the trail.  The first .5 miles of the trail is basically a small stream while raining.  It could use some new drain dips!  At about 1 mile there is a small tree across the trail about 10" in diameter.  Could be removed with a corona saw.  Mile marker 1.5 has broken off and is in need of repair.  Near the connection with the Chinook trail some brushing could be done to push back the thimble berries.  Overall a nice hike but the views were hidden in the clouds.
