Road: The road had a decent amount of pot holes but still passable on a low clearance car if you go slow and steady.
Parking: We arrived at the parking lot at 2pm cars were parked all the way along the the narrow gravel road, we were able to get a spot in the parking lot itself from a car that was just leaving but it was a tight fit.. I'd recommend going super early to get a spot or later like we we did.
Trail: The trail was muddy at times with a few fallen trees on the path but it was easy to navigate around or climb over them. We took the more scenic route both ways (lower trail) It kept us cooler as it was mostly following along the river. I did the upper one few times and much prefer sticking to the lower trail for views, river, and cooler conditions.
Lake: Arriving at the lake there were few ppl hanging out by the lake, most were camping and hung out in the campground area so there was plenty of space to sit around at the lake. Weekend might be a different story so either arrive super early or go later in the day.
