Quartzite Mountain — Sunday, Jul. 12, 2020

Eastern Washington > Selkirk Range

Quartzite mountain! It was a great hike...my only complaint is it is just about a mile and a half (3’ish round trip) - I wish it were longer! Right out of the gate the trail shoots up for about a mile until you get to the camp spot. After the camp spot is evens out a bit then heads a little more up to the summit. There are several areas where you get awesome views Chewelah and of the Selkirks. And I won’t list the elevation gain but safe to say for a trail that’s just 1.5 miles, there is a lot of vert. Awesome area and great hike, highly recommended and we will definitely be back to do it again sometime!
