We arrived at the trailhead around 11:00 on a Sunday morning, and were lucky to find a parking spot when someone was departing. Parking in the two lots and all of the spots along 410 were completely full. I recommend arriving earlier if hiking on the weekend. Also, the restrooms at the Sheep Lake trailhead are close due to COVID-19 restrictions.
The trail was a bit dusty, but overall in great condition and the wildflowers were in full bloom. You may want to bring bug spray if you plan to stay at the lake for a while.
