Great overnight backpacking trip to Jade Lake! If you plan on camping, get on the trail early. There were no spots at Marmot or Jade Lakes so we camped at No Name Lake. Lovely view but lots of mosquitos. The rock scramble from Marmot to Jade really is challenging so prepared for that. Jade Lake is incredible and we wished we had more time to enjoy it.

What time did you start your hike? Was looking to starting around 8am and camp out near Jade that evening with adequate campsites available

8am will work for ensuring you have a spot at Marmot or Jade Lake. We started at 10:30am and that was too late.
