This is an excellent little loop that's just under 1.5 miles right in the middle of Olympia. There's a little stream that runs right through the middle and is a fun trail for kids to watch wildlife and feel far away from the city when you're right in the middle. You can hear the freeway, but it's still a bit of a respite from town.
Right now, the City of Olympia hopes to get all people following the same direction to reduce contact with others for COVID. The loop should be taken clockwise, although there were a few people who ignored signage posted at each entrance and chose to walk the incorrect direction. Most everyone else was following the path as recommended.
There is one section that is rather steep, but it is pretty manageable for most people and you could probably take stroller if you were so inclined.
