Trip Report

Antoine Peak Conservation Area - Canfield Gulch — Saturday, Oct. 17, 2020

Eastern Washington > Spokane Area/Coeur d'Alene

The trail was pretty washed out in lots of places and was muddy in a couple others.  Otherwise, the trail was in good condition.

We hiked up the right (north) side of the Canfield Gulch trail to the summit trail and back down the left side of the trail (south).

The south side of the trail is very steep and should be walked down carefully if it is dry and dusty or snowy/icy.

The Leland Pond on the north side of the trail is a must see for anyone hiking the trail.  There are good views from the bottom of the summit trail and at certain spots on the Canfield Gulch trail.
