Big Bend/Landsburg Reach Natural Area, Cedar River Trail — Saturday, Apr. 10, 2021

Puget Sound and Islands > Seattle-Tacoma Area

A short family hike along Cedar river in Landsburg park, Ravensdale, WA, US. We started from a parking lot on the right side of Landsburg SE road, coordinates: 47.375301, -121.971385 (no pass required, restrooms are available in the park). Hiked East to see the park and the river rapids there (known as Landsburg Fish Ladder - an attraction point for Washington kayakers), then walked river trail to the West a little bit. There are many day use spots in the park, a couple of them were occupied, but majority of people were on the trail (running, walking dogs, cycling, etc.), the trail is a paved gravel road in fact, probably a converted railway. Trail was in excellent condition, crowdy a bit to my taste.
