I didn't actually hike the Tronsen Meadow Trail. This report is for the road. The WTA directions note "the final mile to the trailhead is on rough road." I have not been up here before so I don't know if the road conditions have worsened but I'm a confident driver with a high clearance 4Runner and I thought that section of road was a little "spicy". Totally doable though. Just FYI. The pics are for reference yet don't quite convey the size of the ruts.
Also, that puddle currently has at least 30 frogs in it you might squish when if you drive through. I drove around.
