As others have mentioned, take FS 7175 instead of 7174 to get to the trailhead due to the washout on FS 7176. If it weren't for the signs clearly indicating the Goat Falls trail, I would've thought I was taking a walk through someone's forested backyard.
This was a short trail that follows a lovely babbling creek. The first .1 miles passes by several cabins. Around the half mile mark, there is a small washout with a few steeper steps to walk around it. I initially thought this was the end because my GPS is usually very accurate to WTA mileage, but the falls were just a bit further.
