Hiked to the falls from summit east. Roughly 3.5 -4 miles. The trails/ path is fairly packed and easy to hike just in boots but towards the end / near water fall it gets pretty narrow and slick ( see pictures) and I don’t think it would be passable without trax.
It was also pretty warm and I did worry about potential avalanche danger but didn’t see any signs.
