1. Parking - Plenty along the road at 9 am
2. Pothole situation- None
3. Trail condition- Good
4. Snow condition- Crampons recommended with hiking poles
5. Creek crossings- couple minor and one average. Nothing risky and easily doable.
6. Difficulty- Challenging hike. Snow and wind on the last quarter mile makes it challenging. I had to scramble on all fours at the top in the snow as it was a 70-80 degree grade of snow on a cliff.
7. Views - Rewarding and worth the pain. Can see Rainier up close.
8. Time - Took me 7 hours on average speed and garmin clocked 9 miles with 4k elevation gain.
