Bridle Trails State Park — Wednesday, May. 1, 2024

Puget Sound and Islands > Seattle-Tacoma Area
Gravel section along powerlines had a few bunnies hip-hoppin'

Visited one of my favorite trails next door to say goodbye to a friend who is moving tomorrow. The 3.5 miles we ran were really just a nice excuse to hang.

The inner ring of parallel parking spaces were about 75% full when I arrived at 5:45 p.m. There were two cars parked outside on the street as well. Keep in mind Google will tell you the park closes at 5:00 p.m., but summer hours at the trailhead indicate a closing closer to 8.

Trails were looking good across the board, but with the occasional muddy area or spot marred by horse doodoo. I highly recommend somebody get these equestrians a FaciliTree for their horses' needs.

Came home to a delicious morel quiche made by my partner, pulling from last weekend's foray. Life is good in Western WA.

Distance: 3.57 miles
Elevation gain: 26 feet
Moving time: 44:24
