I began on #215 from the parking lot beside the start of the Mount Erie Road. Over all the trails I took are in good condition but with a few muddy sections. The only pesky items on the trail are the little fir cones that don't look to menacing but make excellent little roller bearings under your boots on the descent. It is still early for some of the wildflowers, particularly up on Sugarloaf. As I neared the top of Mount Erie I began to come across white fawn lilies, better and better groups of them. Once at the parking lot the were hundreds of them.
It was clear on the top of Erie with a rather chilly wind. That was the trade off for a terrific view out over Lake Campbell and the Salish Sea.
The restrooms at the top of Mount Erie and at the trailhead are open, clean and well stocked.
