A great hike for a hot day — trail was mostly shaded & fairly cool, minimal elevation, and a couple opportunities to do quick hikes down to the river to dip your feet into some icy cold water. We had lunch on a rock next to the river at the second waterfall. The last couple miles were a little bushy (trail still clear but tall plants on either side narrowed the trail), so we ended up turning around a bit early & clocked 8 miles total. We only saw a few groups of people all day. Arrived around 930a and there were only a handful of cars, so easy parking.
