Hiked to the First Burroughs yesterday, but did not go far on it. Still thick patches of snow on parts of the trail. We turned back 1/4 up the trail. Too dangerous for us to continue. Although, others tried climbing on the rocks over the snowed in parts of the trail. I don’t know if they made it. I think in another week maybe it will be doable when more snow melts. We also hiked to Fremont Lookout. Trail is clear of snow. Then hiked down to Shadow Lake. Large patches of snow on the Wonderland Trail going down from Frozen Lake, then dirt trail again to Shadow Lake. A nice hike on a hot day.
