Joined a Work Party for the lower trail. Cool to learn about all the work that goes into trail building and maintenance!
A word of warning that I got absolutely eaten alive by mosquitoes in the early part of the trail. It seemed to be fine as long as you were moving, and according to people who made it closer to the lake, but definitely bring your big, heavy DEET spray just in case.
