Illahee Forest Preserve, Illahee State Park — Sunday, Aug. 11, 2024

Beautiful, easy hike that wasn't too busy. Its a dog friendly trail and most pick up after them but some leave the full bags behind. Found some moss/tree art someone built. It was cute and all but I took it down and put it back in the woods. Parts of the trail are active restoration areas, please don't remove moss and berries to make a face on a tree.
