This large King Co. park has something for everyone - sports fields, dog park, camping (RV, tent, yurt), picnic areas (including an historic red barn). I was there for fall hiking. Many of the trails are accessible by crossing a fun pedestrian suspension bridge to the west side of the Snoqualmie River. I walked the Cottonwood Loop trail and watched leaves as they fell onto the trail and small streams. On a cool Wednesday, I had the trail to myself. I left my trekking poles in the car but wished I had them in a couple spots where the ground was uneven or slick with fallen leaves.
