Rattlesnake Mountain, Rattlesnake Mountain - Grand Prospect — Sunday, Dec. 1, 2024

Chilly start on this beautiful day, which meant we had the trail mostly to ourselves until after lunch. Hiked from Snoqualmie Point TH to the middle peak of Rattlesnake Mtn (~10 mi roundtrip). There were only one or two remaining trees across the trail after last week's windstorm (thanks to all those who cleared downfall). Did encounter intermittent snow starting at Grand Prospect, which became more continuous higher on the mountain. It is a bit slick in compacted areas, but manageable in hiking boots.
