Licorice Fern Trail by CoffeeYeen

This trip was part of a WTA LGBTQ+ Work Party! Today, I donned my green hat with my partner and two friends to help widen and refinish a section of trail tread. We removed some large roots from the tread using a corona saw. We also busted up a large rock with a pick-mattock and double-jack! It was an excellent opportunity to meet other queer WTA volunteers and socialize over our shared identities and love of trails. This was our friends' first work party and they loved it! Trillium was in bloom along the hillsides. See below for trail conditions.

Access:
This trail is easily accessible by parking nearby along the road. There's no restroom at this trailhead. The trail has some incline and a narrow bridge or two to cross.

Trail:
The trail tread is overall in decent condition. Some of it has been recently refinished, but some narrow areas and areas with roots and rocks still remain. Some spots near the stream might be muddy.
