Fairly easy flat hike for the family, the last 1/4 mile had about half the total elevaton gain. Take your time and rest, very pretty at the top but there's not much room to rest.

Was the person with the aggressive dog mentioned in the last trip report still living in the parking lot?

We were worried about it too but did not see anybody like that. 6 or so other cars in the parking lot but nobody in the area.
