I hiked this trail last Memorial Day and enjoyed it so much I decided to come back. Conditions were mostly mist and drizzle, couldn’t see the peaks but added a certain mystique to the valley. Everything is green and many blooming flowers including trillium and the easy to miss fairy slipper or calypso bulbosa. Always a delight to hike here. There is one section where the creek is flowing along the trail, and some stream crossings best attempted with waterproof footwear and hiking poles.
