Oh boy, did I feel this in my thighs on the way up and my knees on the way down.. Hiked with my cousin and uncle - they are much more experienced than me, so they continued onto the rope section up to the top. I went past the maintained trail, along the ridge that leads to the ropes, but I chose not to attempt those since I was feeling lightheaded. Still had many breathtaking views throughout the hike! Scenery switches up enough that all the switchbacks don’t feel monotonous. Slippery at times because of sand and gravel, so don’t forget proper footwear otherwise those sheer drops won’t be looking so pretty. Most of the trail has plenty of rocks and roots to anchor your feet against for leverage on the way up and traction on the way down. Will definitely be coming back to this one to make it to the top once I get more hikes under my belt.
