Made it most of the way, got up to the ridgeline around 7000 ft but didn't summit because of snow conditions. Snow started at 4700 ft, was patchy but continuous through to the ridge. Low cloud cover that rose throughout the day made for cool views but obstructed most of the mountains. Lots of wildflowers, two logs across the trail, one mountain goat, no people.
