Zero cougars sighted, but there were several chipmunks milling about the lake that looked up to no good.
Nothing out of the ordinary about the hike today, except that it was absolutely GORGEOUS.
Took us ~3 hours to the top, using the upper trail. ~2 hours back, using the lower trail. Clocked just over 10 miles and just over 1500 ft elevation gain.
I added a picture of some old logging equipment that was just off the (upper) trail. After sharing the picture with a few friends, they said it's a yarder.
