Snoqualmie Region > Snoqualmie Pass
Snow patch #1 (10min from summit)

Got a chance to hike this trail for the 1st time on the 4th of July with some friends.  The road to the TH had some potholes but was manageable for my 1998 Honda Civic.  We arrived at the TH at around 07:52a with plenty of parking spaces available surprisingly.  Trail is in good shape.  Bugs were an annoyance intermittently if you stopped hiking.  Wildflowers are in full bloom.  There are 2 small snow patches about 10min from the summit block that were easy to traverse.  Once at the summit, we decided to stay at the base and felt we didn't need to scale to the true summit.  Too much risk over reward IMO.  Know your comfort level and those of your party before ascending the summit block.  The views from the summit area were clear, Mt. Rainier and Adams were in view as well as the surrounding ranges in the region. We had some well deserved post hike food and beverages at Sunset Alehouse in Old Downtown Issaquah on the way home.  Happy trails!
