A friend and I decided to backpack Navaho Pass over the weekend of the fourth. We arrived at the trailhead around 10a and it was not crowded. The lot (~6 cars) was full but there were only 3 cars on the forest road and lots of space in both directions. The hike was beautiful with lots of wildflowers blooming! There were a few blow downs, most with social trails around it but we had to step over a few. We hiked up to the upper meadow and set up camp. Note, on CalTopo it lists 2 camp areas. We could not find the lower site and opted for the upper meadow which had a ton of campsites. Over the course of the day the sites filled up and by 5pm there were no more spots. Many people with dogs as well. Late afternoon we hiked up to Navaho Peak which was a grind but felt pretty safe. We had views of Rainier and the Enchantments from the top. Stuart Peak was very prominent and beautiful. Going down was a challenge in areas because the grade was steep and the gravel was loose.
Day 2 we hiked up a climbers trail to Wrong Turn Peak and continued onward to an unnamed peak that was near Earl Peak. This route was a bit sketchy but doable past Wrong Turn Peak.
I loved this hike and would highly recommend it.

Just wondering at the place you camped in the meadows, was there a water source?
