Did a 4 day trip from Spider Gap to Buck creek pass loop. Many downed trees on the trail and trail is overgrown in some places. Lots of creeks on the trail to filter water.

We did phelps creek to buck creek pass then to trinity. Only major snow to cross is going up spider gap and then straight down. I wore micro spikes cause it made me feel better going up. But you can do without. Theres alot of downed trees. Lots of creeks to pass as well and the last one was the biggest one which was ip to my mid thighs im 5”6 for reference. The current was strong and i did have a dog with me. But we made it across safely. Otherwise the trail is in pretty good shape besides it being overgrown in places. Def bring some sort of protection against the bugs. They were awful.
