Trip Report

Boulder River — Saturday, Aug. 9, 2025

North Cascades > Mountain Loop Highway
Fun bridge

We walked to the 2nd waterfall, which was about 4.75 miles round trip according to my apple watch which isn't the most accurate. It definitely had some uphill/downhill and some roots and rocks, so not a flat wide open path as it starts out, so I felt like I got a good workout still. Would be good for kids, however getting down to the falls is quite a scramble, but lots of people were down there.

The parking was not too full at 10:15 on a Saturday. We only passed a handful of folks.
