We did portions of these three trails today. All three are worth exploring even if you’ve only got a few hours to get outside.
West Fork of the Methow was a recon trip to see what the trail is like beyond the washed out Trout Creek Bridge (2 miles into hike). And the answer is brushy! After fording the river (no big deal) the trail is good for ~200 yards. It then devolves into a brushy mess🙁 The tread is excellent but the trail is obscured. We went about a mile past Trout Creek.
Robinson Creek we followed to the Paysayten Wilderness boundary. The trail is dry and well maintained. A bridge crosses Robinson Creek making a great place to turn around.
Monument creek is also in great shape though it starts to get brushy at two miles.
Get out and have fun😊
