Teneriffe Falls — Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2025

Snoqualmie Region > North Bend Area
Lower Teneriffe Falls through the trees

I was getting a late start so I parked in the Mt Si parking lot instead of the Teneriffe parking lot. The hike to the falls is about the same whichever parking lot one choses to park. The Teneriffe trail parking lot closes at dusk and I did not want to chance getting locked in.

I recall seeing the Mt Si trailhead parking lot free from potholes earlier this year. Well, many of those potholes are back. The parking lot was not really that bad, but there are some potholes, especially near the entrance.

The toilets were open and well stocked.

The trails that I took were in great shape. I hiked up the Mt Si trail to the Talus Loop. Then going up the Talus loop trail to the connector for Teneriffe. From there I continued up the Teneriffe trail to the fairly new connector, which took me to the Teneriffe Falls trail. On my return I chose to hike on the Roaring Creek trail to get back to the Mt Si trail.

Today, happened to be foggy for much of the hike, so many of my pictures did not turn out very clear. Fog happens in the northwest. The forecast was for clouds but when the cloud level in only a couple thousand feet, then one should expect fog when hiking in these hills.

With all the recent rains, the falls are looking pretty good. Expect them to keep flowing until next summer.

There are many mushrooms out and fall leaves are covering the trails.
