We went on a wet trail run that was a 7 mile loop with 1528’ elevation gain. We missed the turn to Doughty falls so instead went to Coal Creek falls which were running. Trail traffic was light, a few off leash dogs but they were generally ok. Navigating in the rain wasn’t ideal but we still made a fun loop and enjoyed 2 hours jogging in the rain. The moss and ferns on the lower section of the trail is gorgeous and the boardwalks and bridges were all in good condition.
