Rampart Ridge Snowshoe — Sunday, Dec. 28, 2025

No spikes or snowshoes needed today (about 1/4” of fresh snow on top of packed snow and ice), but it was a great day to be out and a nice winter hike. Only a few people on the trail, so it was blissfully peaceful. If you really want to use your snowshoes, you’ll need to wait for some more accumulation or head to higher elevations. Bit of you want a quiet hike in snow covered woods, with some beautiful views, this will do!
