First Franklin Falls hike of the year was a success. Started the hike at the top of Snoqualmie Pass and walked down to the falls from there. There was snow most of the trail but nothing too crazy, wore spikes but don’t think they were necessary. The waterfall is rushing and tons of water, not frozen over with icicles quite yet. Gorgeous day, round trip 4.2 miles and 600 feet elevation gain.

May I ask where you found parking by starting at the top of Snoqualmie Pass? We used to always start from there but it seems there are no parking signs everywhere!!
