Kloshe Nanitch — Saturday, Jan. 17, 2026

Trail was in good condition except for a few small blowdowns near the top, all easy to get past. I selected "snow free", but there was one stretch of trail about 8' long with snow on it, right near the top, and there was snow in the parking lot at the top (apparently you can drive to the lookout), which you only need to walk on a few feet of. In a few places, the trail was a little more narrow and cross-graded than I liked with a long steep drop right next to the trail, but most people will probably be fine on it. There was water across the trail in a number of places, which barely got my shoes wet, but provided some pleasant little waterfalls. Parking lot was muddy but totally fine to park on.
