This outing was part of a WTA trail work party!

Working on the turnpike
 
 
This was my second WTA work party and I had so much fun. I can now proudly say that I have worked on a tiny section of this amazing trail. 
 
A part of this trail is getting rerouted. I got to build a section of the trail on this new route from scratch. I got to replant some of the ferns. I got to spread some straw to avoid erosion. So much effort goes into all of this. 
 
Today, I got to use some powerful tools and also helped build a turnpike which will hopefully be completed by tomorrow.
 
Thank you to all the WTA heroes who have devoted countless hours into making the trails so accessible and safe for us all. So grateful for all your hard work!
