No Name Ridge - Thorp Mountain, Thorp Mountain via Knox Creek — Sunday, Jul. 14, 2013

Snoqualmie Region > Salmon La Sac/Teanaway
someone needs to bring a machette on their next hike on this one.. we spoke to many hikers along the way and most of us ended up losing trail somehow, but there seems to be many trails leading to same places so we all ended up on a trail to our destination.. it's kinda iffy in quite a few spots, we had to both go on what both looked to be trails, and come back to see which one to take..in some areas there were pieces of bright pink tape on log or branch showing the way, whoever did that thank you soo much!! needs to be cleaned up for most part after the lake it's pretty apparent where to go UP! it's steep for sure feels more than 2300 ft of elevation, but once you're up there it's totally worth it.. we even got to see mt adams and mt rainier clear as can be.. and if you don't know the roads getting to the trails keep an eye out because the road WTA says to take isn't posted we had a 7 mile off track delay due to that.. also once we ended towards the car after hike we started hearing gun shots near by so be careful wear something bright, quite a few deer around.. overall for our first lookout totally worth it, and not bad just yes it's very steep, had a few blow downs to climb over, muddy ways with quite the depth to them, totally overgrown, butterflies in a few areas really pretty.. and bring extra bug spray i was attacked by mosquitos, have 18 on forehead and many many on legs and arms, didn't get bad til top of lookout, and we sprayed ourselves again up there..
