We went up the mountain through the Ledge, and not far past the ledge, which was already slippery with icy snow, the snow got deep. Too deep to go on safely/easily for us. It was about 1.5 feet deep. If we stepped off the trail, which was <1ft. wide for some stretches, our legs would submerge up to the knee. The snow was visually appealing though. We went 8 miles round trip and were back at the car by noon.
