We took the upper trail to the lake and the lower trail back. Trail was in good condition, some blowouts –one was particularly bad on the lower trail, we were able to get over it and help our dog over, but it was a bit tricky; the rest were easy to navigate around. Lake was gorgeous, many waterfalls along the trail. Had lunch at the lake, Many small beach areas where you could relax and enjoy the lake peacefully. The road to the trail is in fair condition, last few mile are dirt but not too many potholes. Trail is completely snow free, do wear water resistant boots as there are many stream crossings!
