Shadow Lake - Sunrise Camp Loop — Saturday, Jul. 26, 2014

Mount Rainier Area > NE - Sunrise/White River

About 1pm, I took the Sunrise Lodge to Shadow Lake trail and back, a 2.4 mile round trip hike. Nice easy hike with great scenery along the way. A nice clear, warm day. The only gripe was I forgot to bring "OFF bug spray" and the mosquitoes were really bad. I would have gone on to Sunrise camp if I had bug spray, as it was, had to head back. Had the scenery not been so good, the hike would have been ruined. Remember to bring your bug spray.
