Trail through the trees, well maintained
I took this short hike with my sister and 1.5 year old son. The weather was beautiful and trails were maintained and more trees were recently planted. We didn't go on bike trails, but the entrances to those looked actively maintained as well. It was a short stroll to the water. We looked on both sides of trail, to the right was a view of Mount Rainier, the other was an unused railroad trestle. We decided to go down to the trestle. I would recommend wearing shoes that can be cleaned easily. Down there we saw crabs, clams and snails along with muscles and barnacles on the trestle. I would recommend checking it out of you don't mind getting dirty. We had a great time. I would highly recommend, especially for little ones.
