Tomyhoi Peak — Saturday, Aug. 8, 2015

North Cascades > Mount Baker Area

Decided to wander up Tomyhoi Peak as I have seen the trail leading up to it from YAB. The trail at the base of the mountain starts off fairly steep and goes up to a flat area continues up at at gradual ascent for the most part. I only went as far as the glacier up to about 7200' since I was alone, I didn't want to tackle the somewhat technical part to the summit. The views were tremendous and considerably better than YAB in my opinion. Overall, the total distance was 13.9 miles. It was a great day!!!
