Puget Sound and Islands > Seattle-Tacoma Area

We decided to do a close hike since we had a busy weekend. We arrived around one to a fairly large parking lot with many parking spaces open. The trail itself was in good condition. We had to side step horse manure here and there, but it didn't take away from the hike at all. We only came across a few runners and a couple of horseback riders during this short hike. The trail meanders along the back of some homes in Kirkland and passes some power lines. Lots of great light filtering through the trees. Overall, a nice very easy hike to get the legs moving if you live in the area.

Beautiful photos! I love the third and fourth ones particularly. Sounds like a nice afternoon walk.
