Trip Report

Teneriffe Falls — Thursday, Apr. 7, 2016

Snoqualmie Region > North Bend Area
Upper section of the falls
This is listed as approx 6 miles round trip but it felt a lot shorter, I arrived early 0630 on a weekday and had no problems parking as I was the first one there. By the time I left at 11am the small lot was packed. I would not suggest this as a weekend hike just due to how busy it was on a weekday. Wear really good supportive hiking boots as the trail has a lot of areas of large stones that are loose underfoot, an easy way to turn an ankle. The trail was easy to follow and the only drawback is that the viewing area at the top is not level and very small, as people arrived I moved on so they could get a good view of the falls too. This is a short and easy hike which was perfect since I did not have a lot of time to spend today. Hopeing at some time in the future they provide a more level area near the falls so more people can be there at the same time.
